The highest order of accomplishment in our craft will be for our loyal ambassadors to join us in a triumphant moment.

I felt like we needed to remind [ourselves] of who we were. We needed to remind us of a time when we actually did rule the world. We were leaders. We are powerful people.

our beer

imperial porter

1 PINT, 8.3% ABV

Moor’s Imperial Porter is a rich, textured beer with a hoppy nose complimented by the scent of lavender and blueberry. The palate brings home the flavors of roasted chocolate and ground coffee.

session ale

1 PINT, 5.4% ABV

Moor’s Session Ale packs a light but flavorful balance of green papaya and a hint of key lime with a smooth lemongrass finish.

helles lager

1 PINT, 5.1% ABV

Moor’s Helles Lager is a medium bodied Munich style Lager that smells of melon rind while bright German hops give this brew a subtle honeydew fruit taste that is crushable, crisp and refreshing.

india pale ale

1 PINT, 6.7% ABV

Moor’s IPA is crisp, providing a subtle grapefruit quality on the front, flavors of pretzel dough and rounds out smoothly with fresh honey malt notes.

the stroll’s unforgettable brown ale

ARRIVED NOV 2022, 1 PINT, 6.0% ABV

Born Nathaniel Coles in 1919, Nat “King” Cole gained fame as a piano player while living around the corner from our Bronzeville headquarters.

UNFORGETTABLE Brown Ale is medium bodied, nutty on the nose with notes of toffee, biscuit and a hint of tree sap sweetness in the back. Infused with maple syrup aged in 18th Street Distillery barrels for 3 years, this brew honors a south side Chicago icon. The first African American to host a network television program, whose velvety voice is as timeless as real maple syrup paired with freshly baked biscuits.

pilsner

1 PINT, 6.0% ABV

Moor’s light and refreshing German-style Pilsner boasts a beautiful golden hue and delicate floral notes, perfectly balanced with just a pinch of Anjou Pear.

For me, [MOOR'S] was born out of reading that only 1% of the African American community has ownership in the craft beer industry. When I realized that there weren’t a lot of Black companies doing this, I recognized an underserved niche.
